Welcome! My name is Irina Taylor, and I am the founder of Profit Point Accounting. We are a full-service accounting firm committed to helping business owners achieve clarity in their financials. With over 10 years of experience in accounting and a passion for helping businesses succeed, I’ve made it my mission to help small business owners truly understand their finances and feel confident about their business decisions. 

My passion for the real estate, contracting, and property management niche stems from my years in real estate: in sales, rehabs, flips, and new constructions. Yes, I was in the nitty-gritty of it all! And I’m still an active real estate investor, so I understand the ins and outs of the business.

My journey in the world of numbers began more than 10 years ago in management accounting. For six years, I worked at a commercial construction company, managing large-scale projects and handling everything from budgeting and cost analysis to job costing, payroll, financial reporting, and cash flow management. During that time, I learned the value of being precise, organized, and clear—skills I still use every day to help businesses like yours have control of their finances.

After gaining strong experience in management accounting, I moved into public accounting. I worked with a wide range of clients—franchises, service providers, retail stores, restaurants, real estate investors, and construction companies. This broad exposure taught me about the unique financial challenges each industry faces and how to tailor solutions to their needs.

Experience Brings Clarity

Before getting into accounting, I spent over a decade in real estate (2002–2013), where I worked with investors, land developers, new construction projects, and property management. I also handled 1031 exchanges and, after the 2008 market crash, focused on short sales to help homeowners during a difficult time. I’m still an active real estate investor.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Accounting, and I am a Certified QuickBooks Advanced ProAdvisor. In 2018, I started my accounting firm as a side hustle, initially providing bookkeeping services to a handful of small businesses. However, two years ago, I decided to fully dedicate myself to growing my firm, and it’s now my primary focus.

Today, my firm provides bookkeeping, payroll, accounting, and fractional CFO services, all designed to help small business owners thrive. I love helping clients not only stay on top of their finances but also truly understand their numbers. This way, they can make informed, strategic decisions and grow their businesses with confidence.
